In case you can't find the fires, look up at the roots. Simply fly through them to douse them. You might find switching to Steady Flight mode easier.
Edit: just discovered I'd missed that Blizzard removed the Pathfinder requirement for unlocking Steady Flight in Midnight!

So...fly through the fires to douse them.
This seems obvious, but I wasted some time looking for quest giver or mount that would give me some sort of fire fighting toolbar, As it turns out, just use your normal flying mount and fly through the fires is all that is required.

Weird, this Midnight WQ shows up on the map for a level 80 doing TWW quests in the Ringing Deeps. Going to the map location, no quest there.
