The Truth Behind this Quest:
Adventurer A comes up to Bowmistress Li due to one of the many breadcrumb quests. "A volunteer for Dread Wastes duty? I think you might be the first. Pleased to meet you. One of my best marksmen caught a blast of webbing around his leg and got pulled straight down! Please save him!"
Adventurer A goes down the rope, where he rescues Marksman Lann. Marksman Lann points him to the Psycho Mantid fighting in the cave, and returns to his post, where he is greeted by Bowmistress Li. "Where is Adventurer A?" she asks. "There were some Mantid fighting that he wished to investigate," Marksman Lann replies. "I expect him back shortly."
Several hours pass.
Bowmistress Li returns to Marksman Lann. "Did he indicate he had any other plans?" Marksman Lann shakes his head. "No ... I hope I did not lead him to his death."
"You know what you have to do, right?" Marksman Lann nods. "I'll head down to look for him."A few more hours pass.
Adventurer B comes up to Bowmistress Li due to one of the many breadcrumb quests. "A volunteer for Dread Wastes duty? I think you might be the first *COUGH*. Pleased to meet you. One of my best marksmen caught a blast of webbing around his leg ..."

What to do
Description
It's bad enough trying to hold off the mantid, but now we've got spiders swarming up from the ruins below. One of my best marksmen caught a blast of webbing around his leg and got pulled straight down! We think he's alive, but I don't have the manpower to send anyone in after him. We're stretched thin up here, {class}. If you want to help, use the rope behind me to drop down into the ruins. You're not afraid of heights are you? How about spiders?

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

We're holding, but just barely. Anything you can do to stem the tide of dreadspinners coming up the wall would be a big help. Feel like tearing open spider eggs one at a time by hand? I didn't think so. Take one of our dragon guns and light it up down there. I wanna hear those puppies pop.
