As long as you don't have the angel of death debuff that lasts for a minute, Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver will drop down and kill the mobs you're fighting. He can only come once a minute though.

He can kill them yes but you won't get the credit for it unless you've done enough damage to them before he comes down.

What to do
Description
Newly hatched mantid have only two instincts: kill and feed. They turn on one another, devouring the weak and leaving the strongest to mature. Those hatched during a swarm - the swarmborn - are turned loose on our enemies instead. The swarmborn in the Clutches of Shek'zeer have been tainted. They are born into shadows and nightmares. Driven by terror, not hunger. They are not fit to swarm. They must be purged.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Dread Clutches
The imperial clutches have become an abomination! Clutch-Keepers rush the development of new swarmborn, saturating them in this vile "sha" energy before sending them away to the wall. The Klaxxi wish to stem the tide of swarmborn production in these dread clutches. Put the keepers to death!
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Dead Zone
A Klaxxi'va whispers to the tower. It carries their whisper far; to other towers, to mantid, to paragons. The whisper bounces back, and the Klaxxi hear it. This way, they see all. A tower near the palace is quiet. This will not do. It must sing for the Klaxxi.
