An Ancient Empire

An Ancient Empire is a quest for level 30-35 in Dread Wastes. The quest's turn-in marker is in Dread Wastes at 55.1, 35.8. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,800 experience and money.

Description

My brothers speak of an ancient mogu empire that once dwelled in the ruins to the east.

Once, this tribe knew untold secrets of sorcery and subjugation.

I have a curious mind, Wakener, and I wish to learn of the empires that ruled after my time.

Knowledge of the past will determine our future.

Go search the ruins for their ancient tablets. I will study their secrets and make them our own.

Be mindful that the Vengeful Gurthani Spirits have a seemingly abnormally large aggro range. They also fly, so don't de-aggro so easily when you fly away.

The tablets on the floor are easily found around walls and Gurthani's Watchdogs.
