I would suggest making your way to In Her Clutch before you kill all 40 because you have to fight off a swarm of adds which count towards this quest.

What to do
Description
The imperial clutches have become an abomination! Clutch-Keepers rush the development of new swarmborn, saturating them in this vile "sha" energy before sending them away to the wall. The Klaxxi wish to stem the tide of swarmborn production in these dread clutches. Put the keepers to death!
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Klaxxi Council
I must report to the Klaxxi. They would not have woken me unless the situation were dire. You have not been entirely useless. For that, I will spare your life. The council may even find a use for you.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Not Fit to Swarm
Newly hatched mantid have only two instincts: kill and feed. They turn on one another, devouring the weak and leaving the strongest to mature. Those hatched during a swarm - the swarmborn - are turned loose on our enemies instead. The swarmborn in the Clutches of Shek'zeer have been tainted.
