Finding Refuge at Refuge Pointe

Finding Refuge at Refuge Pointe is a quest for level 80 in Arathi Highlands. It is step 10 of 32 in the Rise of the Red Dawn storyline. It rewards 5,900 experience and money.

Description

If you want to find Lord Trollbane and tell him your theory about Lady Marran, the missive called him to Hammerfall, far to the east of here.

He may have stopped at Refuge Pointe on the way--it's a Stromic encampment about halfway to the orc town. Because of the frequent bandit attacks in the area, I believe he meant to stop and check in with our people there.

You might catch up with him there.

If you don't wait for the NPC to RP walk to the destination, you'll have to stand there and wait for an equivelant amount of time even though they never arrive, or else the turn-in NPC will demand an invisible item that you don't have until the timeout finishes.

That is every comment on this page.

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Marran TrollbaneArathi Highlands · Level 80

I am Colonel Veronica Nials, and I am in command of Stromgarde in Lord Trollbane's absence. I'm sure while aiding our people you've heard the name "Marran" in Stromgarde. Lady Marran Trollbane is Danath's niece. She was briefly regent while Lord Danath Trollbane campaigned for troops for Khaz Algar.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • A Familiar FaceArathi Highlands · Level 80

Early on, these attacks on our settlements seemed to be pockets of bandits competing for resources. Now they are better coordinated. As if they are working together as a group. That's bad news for everyone. But rivals don't come together without a strong leader. And without them, they will fall.
