Going to post the flavor texts for the quest items here since I found them interesting!
[item=231879] "Article of Proof. The signature red bandana worn by the Defias Brotherhood. Old and faded but still vibrant."
You can still actually get your rogues their own [item=7997] to wear!
[item=231880] "Article of Proof. This orange bandana, frequently worn by those affiliated with the Syndicate, stands out against the red of Stromgarde, the Defias, and the Scarlet Crusade."
The Syndicate is the main rival to the Ravenholdt faction. In classic (and even now in moden WoW), the way to get to exalted with Ravenholdt is to just kill Syndicate NPCs non-stop.
[item=231883]: "Article of Proof. This tabard doesn't seem as rare as others have made it out to be."
A reference to the insanely low drop rate for [item=23192] which thankfully you can still get.
[item=231884]: "Article of Proof. A tabard worn by the soldiers of Stromgarde. Old and tattered, it has not been well cared for."
[item=231881] "Article of Proof. You've heard rogues used to pickpocket these, but it's much easier to loot off a dead body."
Again a reference to the notorious Ravenholdt faction grind!
I loved this quest chain, it was such a nice nostalgic trip - 20 years old... I felt that in my knees haha

What to do
Description
Marran tried to declare herself the new ruler of Stromgarde. While some in the army are complicit in her coup, there are still a lot of us who are loyal to Lord Danath Trollbane. But when we broke ranks, Marran was ready for us. She has an army of soldiers I've never seen before. They call themselves the Red Dawn, but I think they're just the bandits wearing uniforms they took from our supplies! Help us take out her goons and collect any evidence that shows what they really are!
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Search for Faerin
I saw Faerin being taken away, but couldn't follow without them seeing me. She's probably being held in another building. Go find her. Hopefully, she's still alive... And see if you can find any more information on the Red Dawn. There's no way we should have been overwhelmed so quickly.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Fallen Fortress
If Danath's kidnappers want to keep him from prying eyes, Ar'gorok is the perfect place. It's been abandoned for years, but its buildings still stand. All the "Red Dawn" could be there and no one would be the wiser. We must find Danath quickly, <name>. Hammerfall is vulnerable and tensions are high.
