TheWoWDBGet to Caer Darrow. Step on teleport pad in the center of Dalaran. Walk down the stairs and through the Portrait Room to reach the portal room, The Chamber of the Guardian. In this room are portals to Caverns of Time, Shattrath, Wyrmrest Temple, Dalaran Crater and Karazhan.
Take the portal to Dalaran Crater. Like the sign states, you will drop from the sky and splat in the crater. You may die but will get Going Down? achieve if you still need it. Edit: Some people report dying from this fall. As a precaution use your Unending Resolve or Soulstone yourself prior to taking the portal.
Fly NW to Caer Darrow in Western Plagelands (home of Scholomance). Be aware this area is now populated with lvl 100 Shadow Council mobs that dislike you intensely.

Talk to Calydus 69.16, 79.15 Tell him your tale and wait a short lore interlude before turning in the quest. You will now get An Eye For a Scepter quest, the next step in your artifact adventure.

1. Finding the Scepter
• Accept the quest, Finding the Scepter, from [npc=101097] at coords 56.4, 64.6 (Circle of Wills in the Underbelly of [zone=7502]).
- - If you have already completed a different artifact chain, [npc=101097] will be located at 37.3, 31.4 in the Dreadscar Rift. Then travel to 74.9, 38.3, and enter the portal to take you to [zone=7502].
• If you picked up the quest from the underbelly, go topside.
• Head to the center of [zone=7502], and step on the transporter at 49.1, 47.8.
• Go southwest, down the corridor and steps to 29, 76.
• Click the Portal to Dalaran Crater.
• Travel northeast, into Western Plaguelands, to coords 68.3, 77.4.
• Collect the 3 clues located around Caer Darrow:
- - [object=251696] - Under a tent at 69.1, 79.6.
- - [object=251698] - Under a tent at 69.0, 77.5.
- - [object=251697] - Under a tent at 69.4, 77.4.
• Travel north to 70.0, 74.4, in front of the instance portal to [zone=6066].
• Defeat [npc=109608] and [npc=109605], looting [item=139035] from the corpse of [npc=109608].
• Travel south to coords 69.2, 79.0.
• Speak with [npc=109698] to learn his plan, and then turn in the quest to him.
If Calydus isn't offering a speech option keep trying. It seems as if only one Warlock in your instance (even though you can't see them) can speak to him at a time.

Description
Very powerful, but difficult to acquire. Scepter is in the hands of Gul'dan. We must find out his plans, get close. Calydus know Gul'dan planning major operation. He has sent out a call to arms to all Shadow Council to help with big ritual. One such group at Caer Darrow, talking to the necromancers there. You should go, find out about plan.
