I did this as a troll character!
Just to put this into perspective:
- night elves are troll-descended
- they waged a devastating war against existing troll kingdoms, shattering troll civilization
- they consider themselves superior to the other mortal racesAnd I took this bunch to attack one of their old cities (the inhabitants of which are as insufferable).
I felt like a Zulu leading white South-Africans attacking London.

If you pick up this quest but don't do it immediately your [spell=202477] costume for Suramar City won't be available for use.
This quest (scenario) is currently broken. I pick up the quest and as I move toward the promenade, I am teleported back to Elune'eth with a warning, "You do not meet the requirements for the chosen dungeons". I have put in a ticket and received a response that they cannot provide hints for quest completions. I have reported this as a bug to Blizz as well and there is a thread on the forums for it. https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/legion-full-might-of-the-elves-error-you-do-not-meet-the-requirements/2182563
While I was there I saw others being teleported back too so I know I'm not alone.
I have logged in and back out. I have turned off all my addons. I have walked into the scenario, rode into the scenario, and flown into the scenario, and been kicked out every time. I am running this on an alt, (a druid to get the forms from Balance of Power). I have completed all of these quests on my main and am exalted with Suramar so I don't see why this should be an issue.
I'm open to suggestions at this point.Update 10/18/25 : after putting this in the forums and reporting this as a bug I did get some responses
1. Blizz says they are aware of the bug
2. I believe this is tied to reputation. I am getting the quest before I can actually do the quest (the bug). Based on the forum response and looking up all of the additional Suramar quest lines (namely Insurrection) in the zone, I think that once I get to exalted, another quest line will appear from Thalyssra allowing me to complete the other portals in Shal'aran. Then I will be able to do this one. I am speculating this is the answer.

What to do
Description
Thalyssra managed to get all 3 to agree to the same thing? I am impressed with her skills of negotiation. Alright hero, Liadrin is already marching on Suramar. Join her forces. Tyrande will flank the city defenders and meet you deeper in. The Nightborne will bring up the rear and hold the territory for us. Oculeth and I will move the Kirin Tor forces to Astravar Harbor. With luck, we shall see you on the other side.

Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.

Thanks to your efforts and a lot of effort on the part of our new army, the Nightfallen are prepared for battle. What is more, we have managed to evacuate nearly all of the civilians between here and Astravar Harbor.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Staging Point
That is quite a corridor you and our allies have punched through the city. It will be difficult to hold but it will cut a wedge in Elisande's forces. Oculeth has been busy redirecting a telemancy beacon to this location but wanted to give you the honor of activating it.
