Hired Help

Hired Help is a quest for level 45 in Suramar. It is step 12 of 17 in the Blood and Wine storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Suramar at 48.9, 73.1. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 6,150 experience and money.

Description

I was fond of Margaux. News of her death weighs heavily on many of us.

<Vanthir shakes his head sadly.>

If we are to carry on, we need to send a strong message. We need those like Durant to know that we are watching, and we will hold them accountable.

I know someone who could help us.

His name is Arluin. To call him a reluctant ally would be generously overstating it. He is cautious, and will not risk himself without compensation.

You can find him in the alleys north of the Evermoon Bazaar.

You will have a couple of dialog windows with him. I had him bug out on me during some server problems. If that happens, just drop the quest and go grab it again. You will need mana to bribe him, so the most efficient thing to do is have enough mana (800) on hand to turn the quest in right away.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Seek the UnsavorySuramar · Level 45

    This is just... unspeakable. Margaux risked everything to get these mana wyrms to us. I cannot let it end this way. I need you to find someone who can make this right. Someone who will do whatever it takes to see Overseer Durant slain. Speak with Vanthir.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • If Words Don't Work...Suramar · Level 45

    Unless you have something worth risking my life for, I will not budge. Vanthir must have told you that my services do not come cheap. Let's say... enough mana to sustain me for a month. <Arluin looks smug, as if you could never agree to this request.>
