Quest Log

Gothic Fashion

Gothic Fashion is a quest for level 60 in Bastion. It is step 4 of 15 in The Seal of Contrition storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Revendreth at 56.4, 41.4. It rewards 8,150 experience and money.

Description

Making my way into the city unseen was not as simple as I thought.

I trekked through some mud, where I came across these... small men.

Perhaps Kleia is right. I draw far too much attention here to be of much use.

Perhaps I can disguise myself? Please, help me by gathering some venthyr clothing as a disguise.

Once you have the quests Eyes of the Master and Overhead Intelligence in your quest log and you enter the Chalice District (where you will need to be for those two quests) then [npc=165011] will show up and offer you this quest.

Note: I suggest doing [npc=165041] for the quest Eyes of the Master last since you can run straight out of his courtyard and up the stairs to the quest turn in spots.

For this quest you will slay [npc=161195] and they will drop each of the five garments and each piece is about a ~40% drop chance.

Once you have obtained all 4 and completed Overhead Intelligence and Eyes of the Master you will go to the tower on the bridge (coordinates below) where if you look at the main map you'll see the giant gargoyle statue and the bridge that rights to the right there will be a tower at the end and turn them in.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Eyes of the MasterBastion · Level 60

I worry about entering the city. I'm sure you have noticed how well we... stand out here. Denathrius's loyalists have eyes everywhere, and no more dedicated soldiers than the stoneborn. Their eyes and ears watch over the Chalice District.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Shards of the CountessBastion · Level 60

The venthyr travel long distances through enchanted mirrors. The keys we look for are not as we have in Bastion, but rather shards of a mirror that will lead to the sinstone's location. Based on the intel you found, we know which three houses hold these shards. Primrose, Darkvein, and Sinfang.
