the door to him is closed, but when you get near it then you can click it open or else it will open automatically
The location as given on the map is misleading, as it it the location of Lord Darion underground and is not accessible from there.
The building you need to enter is not the one at the given location, but the one with the entrance at 55.19, 34.72 - take the steps inside all the way down to the underground vault and the elusive Lord Darion is behind a double door to your right which must be clicked on to open.
n.b. There are plenty of mobs in there so make sure you are prepared to battle your way through them!
