Light Respite

Light Respite is a quest for level 60 in Bastion. It is step 12 of 15 in The Seal of Contrition storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Revendreth at 39.9, 59.0. It rewards 8,150 experience and money.

Description

We passed many ash ghouls on the way here, screaming in pain from their Light-dispensed burns.

And after meeting Alwin and the others here, my heart aches for them.

They have lost much of who they once were, and suffer daily for it.

Please, collect some berries from the Ashen Traverse. I believe I could impart anima into them to create a healing salve to soothe their wounds.

It is the least I can do.

  • Skulking in the DarknessBastion · Level 60

I had only heard tales of the Ember Ward before now. It's breathtaking... yet terrible. The Light burns the venthyr here, scorching their flesh and driving them mad. The only reprieve is darkness, but thugs have taken over every inch of shelter outside of this sanctuary.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Folly of EnvyBastion · Level 60

<Alwin points at a venthyr on the ledge above. He lets out a slight, low rumble.>
