Harvest Havoc

For the Shadow-Sour Mite look for disturbed dirt around where cabbage is and use the 2nd button ability to shatter the ground and then use 1 button to kill the mites

To do the havesting of carrots and cabbage, you need to be in your little scarecrow suit from the guy at start, and then walk out into the fields where you will see a dim patch of carrots or cabbage. Stand in that patch, and then use your new action buttons (3 and 4) to pick up and then throw either veggie at the nearby little scarecrow NPC who is highlighted as "Cart-Pusher."

Don't be like me and be an idiot. now that this area isn't flooded with other people I was having the hardest time killing the Mites. Here is a step by step instructions on how to get the mites to show up.

1) Get in little Scarecrow mech suit
2) Cross the bridge to the highlighted area on your minimap
3) Look for the little mounds of dirt on the ground.
4) press the second button on your action bar called "Remy Jump." This will make your mech leap and slam into those dirt mounds.
5) the Shadow-Sour Mites then come out and burn them with your flamethrower (the first button on your action bar)
