The felslate deposits are mostly located in the south end of the quest area.

They are larger than a typical mining node and are outlined to indicate they are a quest item.

At present, this world quest is somewhat broken in that you can mine the Felslate there indefinitely, so long as you don't loot the Heavy Felslate from each node. This means that it is possible to raise the mining profession far higher than what was likely intended, as long as you realm hop to find more nodes.

Of course, it'd be a much better use of one's time to just go find actual nodes outside of the world quest that you can actually loot, not to mention that this IS an exploit. As this is the case, I would not recommend doing this.
