If you're like me and a little unobservant, the south room has stairs that lead to the 2nd floor.
Sadly, the fel font in the center doesn't give non-demon hunters double jump, however badly they may want it :/

Do not try to do this quest mounted and with Demonsteel Stirrups on. This will bug the quest.
When you have clicked all of the 8 cages, will not be able to interact with them anymore, as if you have completed the quest, but you will not be able to turn the quest in.
I had to run this quest 3 times before I got that.
The best place to complete this quest is to go up. Use left entrance, there will be a Lady Rivantas rare.

What to do
Description
When the Burning Legion takes a prisoner, it is not an act of mercy. While death is the destruction of the mortal body... if you are captured by the Legion, they will seek to destroy your soul. The Burning Legion uses sacrificial souls to power their demonic machinations of war. The soul engine is where the harvested souls are collected and stored. Though countless have already perished in the soul engine, you may yet save those still alive inside. Hurry and release them before it is too late!
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Grimwing the Devourer
You have my thanks for rescuing me from captivity, <class>. However, Azoran is no mere demon. He is a powerful eredar who commands great rank within the Burning Legion. If you wish to continue with me, I need proof of your strength.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Symbols of Power
This demon has information that could lead us to those in charge. Unfortunately, he is more fearful of his master than he is of us. We need to change his mind about that. The most powerful Burning Legion soldiers often carry an emblem of their rank and status within the demon army.
