If you wait a few minutes, you get to see [npc=10936] reunite with [npc=10926] before disappearing. (Not totally sure how long, or when the timer starts, but enough time from the end of the battle to get the quests done.)

J (outside the house): Pamela? Are you there, honey?
P: Daddy!
Pamela runs out of the house to meet her father.
P: Daddy! You're back!
P: Let's go play! No, tell me a story, Daddy! No... let's go pick flowers! And play tea time! I found my dollie, did I tell you?
J: Hahah!
P: I missed you so much, Daddy!
J: I missed you too, honey. And I'm finally home...
