So... why does the PC let this random goon knock us out and imprison us? By this point we've killed other Red Dawn affiliates for less, I'm pretty sure Faerin and Karen's dialogue wasn't so distracting that we wouldn't clear that room.

So my character, the slayer of gods/kings/dragons/etc., sees that someone is coming up to him with a hammer and let's himself get whacked in the head.
Okay then.
I got transported into the jail cell and nothing happened... after two other players showed up, the gate opened but Captain Roderick Brewston isn't doing anything but standing there. I've walked in and out of the Keep but it's not reset him. I've been "awaiting rescue" for 15 minutes now XD Anyone have any suggestions?
Edit/update: Seeing other players moving through the questline around me, I decided to abandon the quest and pick it up again. Fixed it!

What to do
Description
Eitrigg was right. The Red Dawn are trying to start a conflict between the Horde and the Alliance. We need to get back to Stromgarde and tell Colonel Nials that Danath has been kidnapped. She will surely commit all her resources to a search! Come, {name}. There's no time to waste!
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- False Flag
This was not done by simple bandits. This spot was chosen specifically for an ambush. And these troops were taken down quickly and efficiently. If Danath was heading to Hammerfall, this road is the most direct route. That makes it predictable.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Search for Faerin
I saw Faerin being taken away, but couldn't follow without them seeing me. She's probably being held in another building. Go find her. Hopefully, she's still alive... And see if you can find any more information on the Red Dawn. There's no way we should have been overwhelmed so quickly.
