Investigating the Unknown is a quest for level 36-80 in Zaralek Cavern. It is step 8 of 10 in the Inherited Sin storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Zaralek Cavern at 53.6, 30.2. It rewards 9,500 experience and money.
We can only assume that something ambushed the marching djaradin. Who could have done this?
We should investigate it before we proceed.

Quest looked acceptable but when I clicked on the dude, nothing happened. Walked over to Sabellian and talked to him and went back and it let me accept the quest

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Cages, chains and transportation carts... I think we all know where this leads. If the drakonids plan on capturing and enslaving the slitherdrakes, then they are no better than the djaradin. See what you can do to thwart their plans.
