Description

It is a miracle this outpost survived so long after Neltharion's... disappearance.

For weeks now local scouts have reported increased djaradin activity in the area. They are amassing an army, and they are also becoming increasingly aggressive in their efforts to expand their territory.

We must take every possible precaution and try to understand our enemy's motivations.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Here We Go AgainZaralek Cavern · Level 36-80

I understand Alexstrasza's concerns. Shadowflame is a vile force that poses an indescribable threat to anyone who comes close to it, as we have personally witnessed. Unfortunately, Aberrus may contain even more threats. We need to continue to push forward.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Report: Battlefield RuinsZaralek Cavern · Level 36-80

Our situation is worse than we thought. Their dominance of the air keeps us at a disadvantage. They plan on freeing their powerful Elder from Aberrus. Allowing them to accomplish this could result in us permanently forfeiting control of this area.
