In case you're not watching where the quest giver ran off too,
Coords for Charged Resonance Crystal: 56.34.
Outside and to the left of the building that contains the Defense Pylon Central Control Console. This will give you a buff that lasts for about a minute after you click, so nothing will be in your bags or on the Quest tracker for you to interact with. After you "run the crystal" to the pylons, which look like spears in the ground? the buff disappears, you pick up the buff again and take it to the next pylon.
You don't have to dismount to do this.
Quest
Invisible Ramparts
A World of Warcraft quest in Shadowmoon Valley. Facts and objectives from the current retail game data.
The highest voted Wowhead comments for this page. They are community notes, not TheWoWDB comments.
This quest is given out by Exarch Hataaru in the Elodor Fields. As soon as you accept the quest, he will run to where the crystals are. Pick them up one at a time and run back to the pylons, back in the area where you picked up the quest.
The pylons are only there if you have just taken the quest. if you logged out or rezoned, you'll have to drop and retake the quest to start it over so the pylons pop up again.

What to do
Description
Exarch Akama is too cautious, but we shouldn't ignore a threat from the Shadowmoon clan. It is good you are here! Since we arrived on Draenor I have dedicated myself to recreating the technology we left behind. This large structure here is a defense ward. It should counter a Shadowmoon advance - provided we power it up. I have prepared resonance crystals at my workshop to the south. Carry one crystal at a time to the three pylons that surround the ward, then activate the control panel nearby!
