ok Brann I'll just fight or run through fifty more blood trolls while you jump down a hole and vanish then... what are friends for if not abandoning you amidst an enemy army?

At the end, seems quicker to hearth and get the boat back to Fort Victory.
The whole chain is just a one big reference to Hearth of Darkness, Rambo, and Apocalypse Now. There was just "napalm in the morning missing"...I could also bet that Brann Bronzebeard functions sligtly like Indiana Jones here.

Description
When I arrived here in disguise, the blood trolls thought me some sort of messenger of their Blood God. I seized the advantage and played into their primitive beliefs. I came here intending to open trade and learn how we can work with them against the Horde. What I discovered was altogether more compelling. I will show you.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
