TheWoWDBIn Stormheim, if you go to the Hafr Fjall flightpoint and follow the path downwards (heading north) - there is a cave with entrance at 58,87.
The Basilisks respawn very quickly in there - so didn't take me long to finish the quest.Another cave at 54.6, 90.6 - with some more Basilisks outside during the journey from the previous cave :)

Cave entrance at 38.42, 42.48
Lots of competition in Val'sharah's Ash'theran, due to the World Quest being marked there and due to players not spreading out (over the whole zone). At Ash'theran there is a ramp up to two plateaus with 3 to 4 Leystone Basilisks. The first plateau is at /way 66.49, 42.45 (north of, and on the east side of the river from, the friendly ancient Elothir). Follow the short ramp up to the 2nd plateau with 2 Leystone Basilisks. And there are two Leystone Basilisks down in the Cavern of the Keeper at /way 66.6, 36.46. Between that ramp and the cavern is where most player competition for Leystone Basilisks happens (because the world quest is marked there).
