IMPORTANT INFO:


  2. End of the Supply Line and Harrying the Hunters can be done by both factions, but "The Voice of..." followup requrement is different.

  4. Goldrinn's Ferocity and Howling Mad allows other players to share you quests next on line, but Lycanthoth the Corruptor{H} will let you be in same phase as npc.

  6. Into the Maw!{A2;H;H2}. There are 2Alliance and 2Horde variants, for each faction one from wolf spirit and one backup from main quest guy in Shrine of Goldrinn.

  8. Whole Firelands Forgeworks(8) chain doesn't have any pre-quests. You can get first time to Hyjal and ask warlock to summon you there and do the quests. However Lightning in a Bottle{H} is needed to use the standart teleport.

OK, as of 12/31/10, Lycanthoth's Altar is located inside a small cave at coordinates 32/36.6. Use the incense at the altar inside, then fight Lycanthoth to release the spirit of Lo'Gosh.

A cut scene will appear where you hop on Lo'Gosh's back and pad around the ruins to "cleanse" it. Once done, speak to Lo'Gosh again to receive the quest The Shrine Reclaimed.

Must say I don't think much of Goldrinn's animations. Limps out of the cave, jumps like he has arthritis, and just generally moves like he's made out of hinged papier mâché.
Well I guess if he's been hiding in that cave for the last 10,000 years he would be a bit stiff.

Blasting open the cages and ripping the throats out of those vandals is pretty cool though :)

Description

I think I understand what's happening here. The Twilight's Hammer fears that the ancients may someday rise up to oppose them. They'll do anything to stop the return of Goldrinn. This "Lycanthoth" is a twisted version of our beloved wolf god, summoned by the Twilight's Hammer to replace him. Bah! It is but a shadow of Goldrinn's power. {name}, kill this beast so that the true ancient can return. Take this incense and burn it in the Maw of Lycanthoth east of here. Slay that beast and free Goldrinn!
