Goldrinn's Ferocity

Goldrinn's Ferocity is an Alliance-only quest for level 30-35 in Mount Hyjal. It is step 17 of 118 in the Mount Hyjal storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Mount Hyjal at 30.1, 31.3. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,800 experience and money.

Description

The beasts you see here, they're no longer my brothers from Gilneas. They've been corrupted by some kind of madness, and they've taken over the shrine.

They came when the Twilight's Hammer arrived in Hyjal, and they howl the name of some blasphemous mockery of our beloved Goldrinn. Forget about me - destroy these vandals before they continue to defile the shrine.

As you destroy them, look for the incense they carry and bring me some samples.

I have done this quest, Lycanthroth the Corrupter, and The Shrine Reclaimed, and still Wowhead shows me as not having it done, and I know the new API for Blizzard tracks quests now instead of Wowhead but still grabs it from the Armory/API. Send a ticket in, waiting for response.

Update: Gm said i have those 3 quests done but that I had to talk to a dev for Wowhead, so I hope the tracker says on my incomplete list as those 3 quests complete I know I did them and the GM saw that I did them too.

  • The Voice of Lo'GoshMount Hyjal · Level 30-35

Have you heard of Lo'Gosh, the wolf ancient? In the Alliance tongue, he is known as "Goldrinn." I don't need to tell you how important the wolf god has been to the Horde - his tenacity under adversity has been an inspiration to all of our disparate races.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Howling MadMount Hyjal · Level 30-35

The shrine has been taken, <name>. We need the tenacity of Lo'Gosh now more than ever. These defilers - the lice-ridden wolf-men running rampant over the shrine - dishonor the memory of the wolf god. They arrived with the Twilight's Hammer, howling with their own twisted religion.
