Mangletooth (Alliance)

Mangletooth is an Alliance-only quest for level 10-30 in Southern Barrens. It is step 68 of 89 in the Southern Barrens storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Southern Barrens at 45.0, 85.4. It rewards 4 reward items, 4,100 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 1 achievement.

Description

Una here used to spend time in Camp Taurajo. She's told me about a quilboar that used to be captured there, named Mangletooth. Quite the clever one, for a quilboar.

I've been tryin' to think what got these quilboar riled up so much recently, and it might be that Mangletooth escaped Taurajo alive. If he has, he's certainly calling the shots.

There's a large hut up in the hills to the northwest. If you find Mangletooth there, cut 'im down.

A moment there, <class>. We've got more problems here than just the end of the world as we know it. Our vigil here's threatened by the quilboar. We've been content to leave them be when they stay in the Kraul, sure, but every day they press further and further out towards our camp.

  • Mahka's PleaSouthern Barrens · Level 10-30

I can't put him out of my mind, <name>. Sometimes at night, I can hear his howls of rage and suffering, echoing across the plains. To imagine him out there, alone and in such pain... Please, I must ask a favor of you. Go to Mankrik, and tell him to come see me.
