Obtaining Permits

Obtaining Permits is a quest for level 80 in K'aresh. It is step 2 of 4 in the Lost and Found Storage storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in K'aresh at 66.6, 71.8. It rewards 5,900 experience and money.

Description

There is a difference between securing a permit and securing permission to sell in Tazavesh.

Xy'vez is a licensed dealer. He can buy and sell as he pleases in accordance with the authorities. However, I am glad he knows his place. If you are on my streets, you need my permission.

Not everyone knows this. Cartel Ba likes to test the waters. I'll award your permission if you teach them a lesson.

After beating up Smuggler Ba'vaal (he can't be killed - got him down to 3 HP) I was in perpetual combat and could not fly off the balcony. I am an Affliction warlock with the Absolute Corruption talent which deals permanent damage (Charged Bolts do too) and keeps me in combat indefinitely. Exiting the game didn't help as I was still in combat when I returned.

Put in a bug report and used "Stuck" Character successfully.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

  • A Lucrative OpportunityK'aresh · Level 80

Most fortuitous greetings, offworlder! I have been stuck for an eon at this post checking manifests one after another. This is not real trade. Real trade is done on the streets of Tazavesh! It just so happens that a contact of mine from your world was unloading waste cargo.

  • Articles of AcquisitionK'aresh · Level 80

Take this ledger to Xy'vez. Let him know I expect dinars upfront and on time. There are to be no discrepencies between my records and his, do you understand? You may head to the market to inform him. Knowing traders like him, he'll have already found a spot to set up shop.
