Pinchwhistle Gearworks

If you'd rather just skip the prerequisite quest and get your Salvage Yard more quickly, I was able to just start doing quests in Pinchwhistle at 97 by going straight there. It was pretty easy to run down there from Shadowmoon Valley using water walking.

Be aware that if you leave, you won't be able to fly back here if you haven't done anything else in Spires of Arak yet, because the flight path in this town doesn't connect directly to Talador or Shadowmoon Valley.

Pick up the quest, Pinchwhistle Gearworks from [npc=86589]; however if you chose Stockton Brewery, for your South Port building, your quest giver is [npc=85550].

1. Pinchwhistle Gearworks - (Video) - Speak to your Southport Flight Master, [npc=83567], and select "Take me to the Pinchwhistle Gearworks."

• Go to coords 61.5, 72.9 and turn in the quest to [npc=81109], and pick up Defungination. Also grab Spore-be-Gone from [npc=81128].
• Travel south to coords 62.5, 73.8, and pick up Unwanted Pests from [npc=85062].

2. Defungination - (Video) - Travel south into Sporemist Shallows and use [item=112683] on [npc=81288], which look like small orange mushrooms on the ground.

• Spore-be-Gone - While completing Defungination, activate [npc=81135].
• Unwanted Pests - As you're completing Defungination, kill a total of 10 mobs (either [npc=81138] or [npc=82243]).
• Travel north, back to Pinchwhistle Gearworks, to coords 61.5, 72.9, and turn in the quests, and pick up The Mother Lode

3. The Mother Lode - (Video) - Leave Pinchwhistle Gearworks, traveling southwest past the Flight Master, to coords 59.1, 79.1, and turn in the quest, picking up Getting the Crew Back Together.

4. Getting the Crew Back Together - (Video) - Travel south down the path and click on 6 [npc=89209] to revive them.

• Clearing Out Before Cleaning Up - While completing this step, kill 8 [npc=81168].
• Turn the quests in and pick up Follow that Hotrod!

5. Follow that Hotrod! - (Video) - Travel south to Pinchwhistle Point to coords 58.5, 92.3.

• Turn quest in and pick up quests The Right Parts for the Job & Skimming Off the Top from [npc=81972].
• Also pick up quest Field Trial from [npc=81443]

6. Field Trial - (Video) - Use the [item=115475] on [npc=85258] around coords 58.2, 89.4. Around this same area you will find [npc=81370] and [npc=81524], for the other two parts to this step.

• The Right Parts for the Job - Use [item=112698] on [npc=81370], and collect 16 [item=112634].
• Skimming Off the Top - Kill 4 [npc=81524] and loot their [item=112906].
• Travel back to coords 58.5, 92.3 to turn in these quests and pick up the next series for this chain.

7. Sporicide - (Video) - Travel to coords 55.8, 89.0, and kill a total of 6 of either [npc=82265] or [npc=85316] while completing this step of the chain.

• Curing With Force - While completing the above quest, attack [npc=85421]. When they are at 35% health, use [item=115533] on them.

8. Preventing the Worst - (Video) - Place 5 [npc=81632] at the following coords:

• 56.7, 89.9 - Inside a small building
• 56.5, 89.5 - Outside
• 56.7, 91.4 - Inside a small building
• 56.3, 91.5 - Inside a small building
• 55.8, 91.0 - In an opening, on the second floor, of a large building

• Turn in the quests in the vicinity of coords 58.5, 92.3, and pick up Flame On from [npc=81443].

9. Flame On - (Video) - Click on the [object=231910] at coords 58.5, 92.3, then turn around and jump into the [npc=81567] at coords 58.8, 92.8.

• You will then be flown back to Pinchwhistle Gearworks where you will turn in this quest and pick up [item=111957] and recruit [follower=192].

It says "Requires level 96", but I'm at level 96 and I can't see this quest in my garrison...
