Recharging Rustbolt

Recharging Rustbolt is a quest for level 10-60 in Mechagon. It is step 4 of 4 in the Quickcharge Experiments storyline, the final step. The quest's turn-in marker is in Mechagon Island at 70.7, 38.5. It rewards 1 reward item, 8,150 experience and money.

Description

Our personal generator is worthless until we recharge its empty energy cells.

As my dear brother says, energy cells are the lifeblood of innovation. Everything in Mechagon needs power, and energy cells deliver that power in a wonderfully universal format.

But, once they're drained of power, most people toss the empty cells away.

Most people are fools, dear test subject.

We have perfected the technology to recharge small numbers of energy cells back to full power.

Will you help us test it?

This is a fairly easy quest. Takes two to four minutes, depending on your chain pulling.

The NRG-100 works two ways:
1) When you kill a quest NPC it will autocast the charge spell. This works with up to two enemies pulled at a time.
2) If you chain pull, like I did, 5-6 mobs, it will cast once and then you have to highlight the corpse with your mouse and use the item.

You will see a little energy bar 0/100 on your screen. Each enemy is worth 50 energy, 100 makes 1 full charge.

So, barnie-style math is, kill 12 enemies and drain them.

Very easy, you get the quest when you hit honored with Rustbolt Resistance.

Wondrous news, dear test subject! My dear brother and I have restored 65% of the functionality of our research laboratory. We are hoping to resume our regular research schedule shortly, but require a fresh batch of brave test subjects to help us push the laws of nature and science to their limits!
