A Test of Endurance

A Test of Endurance is a quest for level 10-35 in The Jade Forest. It is step 26 of 39 in The Jade Forest, Dawn's Blossom & Tian Monastery & Nectarbreeze Village storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in The Jade Forest at 39.0, 24.0. It rewards 600 experience and money.

Description

I have taught you everything that I can, <name>. It is time you spoke with Instructor Myang.

The fights that she stages are less traditional than the sparring matches I am used to. Nevertheless, the path of a traveling adventurer like yourself is unpredictable, and a broad knowledge of fighting styles is an admirable trait.

Farewell, <name>, and best of luck on the remainder of your training.

Once you accept the quest from Master Stone Fist, proceed west through the archway behind him. Go down the stairs, and continue to follow the path across the bridge. Continue to follow the path, until you see Instructor Myang in the distance, right beside The Rumpus Pit.

If you have a tank specced character with no dps offspec and nothing but Tanking avoidance gear from the Cata days, this quest will take a long time.

They forgot about tanks on this quest, its totally built for DPS classes. It took me forever to whittle those bags down.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Xiao, the EaterThe Jade Forest · Level 10-35

You may have already met my best student, Xiao, at the banquet tables. I personally would have graduated him several times over, but Instructor Xann insists that he needs more discipline. If you ask me, discipline means very little if you win every fight you enter.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The RumpusThe Jade Forest · Level 10-35

Master Stone Fist has trained you in the art of one-on-one combat. Now you learn the art of one-on-many. How does fifty sound? Lower yourself into the Ring of Inner Focus below, then, when you're ready, set off this firework. My assistants will come at you, several at a time.
