Something Not Ruined is a quest for level 75-78 in Hallowfall. It is step 2 of 4 in The Mysterious Chef storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Hallowfall at 69.9, 32.6. It rewards 10,200 experience and money.
Alright, I'll come with you. Show you how to do this properly. If I'm up, we might as well stock up on taro. Can't rely on adventurers to do delicate work, I suppose.

Edit: Thanks everyone for reporting, as of 3/15/2025 I was able to complete this quest.
Is this broken for anyone else? Tried left click and pull, right click and pull, interact hotkey and pull, abondoned quest, reloaded ui, switched characters, completed light dailies in the area. When i pull the root it just lets me go until it times out and resets the plant. I submitted a bug report but maybe I'm just missing something?
Still bugged as of March 14th, 2025. Please fix, this is my last questline and achievement for All That Khaz.
Edit: Will be checking everyday
Edit Edit: THIS IS FINALLY WORKING
Still bugged as of 08/03/25

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Ah, another one of you lot, eh? Well, if you want to eat, you need to help. Pick me a fresh taro, will you?

Normally, this would do. I'm not so picky. But you're a guest. So we'll need some garlic. I found some growing on a hill not far off. Shouldn't be there. But it is. Too bad hydras found it, too. You have weapons and such, right?
The Mysterious Chef has 4 steps, from Something Earthy to Sous.
