Synthesis of Power

I finished this quest today after some trial and error.

I started out in Firewing Point located in Terokkar Forest and slayed the entire area three times with no luck of dropping the Tome. I decided to burn some time exploring the rest of Outland and found the Tome at Manaforge Corru on my fourth kill.

If you're doing this quest, it's a good idea to start in Netherstorm at Managforge Corru and skip Firewing Point all together. The drop rate appears to be significantly higher from Sunfury Blood Elves than Firewing Blood Elves.

I hope this helps anyone out who feels that the quest isn't worth the time. Had I started in Netherstorm, it wouldn't have taken long at all.

In an earnest proposition, I believe only Scryers should roll on these. Sure, eventually an Aldor could find a Scryer to trade up Fel Armament, but Scryers should have immediate priorities over these since it's their rep they can gain instantenously.

It should be seen like rolling on armor and weapon drops in five-mans. If you can and will use it, roll need.

If it has no traditional value to you, roll greed. So in this case, Scryers should roll need, if not, all Aldors will have rolled greed. Seems so much so more fair to me.

To the genius saying he needs Scryer tomes even though he is an Aldor.

I guess following that train of logic, I should need on every green.
I need the disenchant mats they might drop and i need to sell them for gold.

I need that epic plate that just dropped cause I need to disenchant it for void crystals.
I can't wear plate and its a huge upgrade for the paladin in our group... but im gonna roll need cause I don't get the concept of greed.

Where to find tomes is not an issue. Just board one of the reservist boats in Quel Danas and watch your inventory fill up with them.

roll what you want... but if you roll need for stuff you obviously dont need, just to trade like you would a green... you will be kicked from my raid group, guild and friends list. Ninjalooter
