Run in throw the bomb in the hole quickly then get back outside and AoE down the mobs that follow you. Don't try to fight them inside because they respawn immediately after you kill them, and could overwhelm you if you're around level 34-36.
Good luck.

What to do

StorylineWestern Plaguelands, step 26 of 63
Rewards10g 50s, 4,100 XP

Description

Araj the Summoner is bolstering the Scourge defenses with simple skeletons... an army of weaklings that will overwhelm you before it overpowers you. He has assembled animi within Andorhal's northern towers that spew these skeletons out at an alarming rate. But I've got the solution! <Jearl passes you a handful of grenades.> Their function is simple. Throwing these grenades at a bone animus... or, for that matter, a mob of skeletons... will reduce them to splinters.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

  • War MachinesWestern Plaguelands · Level 15-30

You fools will never defeat the Scourge with those abominations running around. Koltira blathers on about reducing their numbers, but the Scourge's best weapon here in Andorhal can be found in those lumbering brutes that are throwing my deathguards around like ragdolls. I won't have it.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • ScholomancerWestern Plaguelands · Level 15-30

The Scholomance is one of the few Scourge holdouts remaining west of the Thondroril. The headmaster of Scholomance, a cultist by the name of Darkmaster Gandling, has made an appearance on the battlefield. This will be his final mistake.
