This quest is a part of a short quest chain, connected to Mac'aree and Seat of the Triumvirate dungeon. The item that started the chain was dropped from a mob from the dungeon. Upon completing the quests, you will be pointed back to the same dungeon. As a reward, you'll get an appearance set from the dungeon, so nothing major, but still nice.
This quest in particular asks you to grind some mobs in western Mac'aree. Depending on your item level, it can take you 5-15 minutes.

Description
I forged the key using a pristine argunite crystal. Unfortunately, the only ones remaining are used by the Army of the Light's defenses. Hmm... dendrite clusters might be an alternative. They were used by the elite of Eredath to power simple devices. If enough of the city ruins are still intact, I'd wager the fallen magi or the broken may still have some in their possession. Of course, I would need a great many clusters to reforge the key. It seems you have your work cut out for you.
