Having non-linear, optional quests, with no prompting or warning about having to complete is a crap addition in legion in these scenarios. Completed quest, couldn't find way to hand in, killed the thing in the middle, scenario done, quest stranded in quest log. So annoying

I made the mistake of leaving the scenario before I could turn in this quest. After opening an in-game ticket and speaking with a GM, I had to drop the quest entirely. If you leave the scenario before turning it in, there is no way to go back.

Here's what the GM had to say:

Hey there, [name]!

Specialist Game Master [name] here. I saw you have an important quest issue that needs attention, so I hopped into the nearest transwarp conduit to get to your ticket as soon as I could. Thanks for being patient :)

You are correct, this quest may only be turned-in while inside the scenario Black Rook Hold and doing the scenario quest Ravencrest's Legacy. Regrettably once you leave the scenario there is no way to turn this quest in after-the-fact, and it is not something we can get done for you I'm afraid. At this point the only option here would be to abandon the quest for good.

I know this may seem annoying, abandoning a perfectly good quest never seems right, and if you want to voice your concerns about how this quest can only be turned in while actively in the scenario you will want to get that info to our game developers. There are three awesome ways you can do that -

- Via the in-game 'Submit Suggestion' option found in the help menu (ESC button -> Game Menu -> Help)
- On our forums. For this issue, the General Discussion forum would be best - http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/984270/
- Via one of the many official Twitter feeds our Community Managers and Developers have.

Description

Broxigar the Red is cornered on the bridge. I am not sure he would ever admit that he needs our help, but I feel it only proper to lend him our aid. If you wish to assist our ally, I would be humbled to accompany you in this endeavor.
