The Southern Wilds

So far the only quest in SMV that seems to be invalidated if you do the next quests in line before. With the launch lag it was more common to go for southern SMV before the main line and do the Fiona chain, so many players might not be able to pick up this quest.

Next quest - Crippled Caravan

If you want a brief break from doing a quest line for a bit, there's WANTED: Maa'run's Hoof and The Shimmer Moor in the same (sort of) area - they're both fairly quick since they're just singular quests and they're profitable to boot.

If you happen to talk to [npc=81110], she says this:

We need to make sure no more travelers are attacked by the botani.

Arepheon just left with the others, if you leave now you should be able to catch up with him.

Although she never actually emotes anything, you'll see him having half of a conversation with her:
