After the previous quest return to New Kargath.
Moldarr can be found inside a hut at [15, 48]
You can find General Jirakka by climbing the ramp at [16, 46]. You will fight through a couple pairs of enemies to reach a tower at [15,42]. The entrance is protected by 3 mobs, and is clear until you find the General at the top of the tower.
For some reason the default quest helper directed me to General Jirakka first, before Moldarr. Depending on how long it takes you to climb the path and kill everything, the mobs at the beginning of the path may start to respawn on your return down.

Here are some tips for using the mercenaries:
- When using them, my warlock pet went away. Not sure if this applies for hunters as well? You can't have them both out at the same time.
- If you are a ranged attacker, they'll do their special attacks on command but they won't auto-attack unless you get near the enemy.
- They disappear in certain areas... I think if you get too far from New Kargath or the quest area.
- If they die in combat, they will not rez until you've finished fighting, but they'll come back with full health and mana.
- If you mount up, they hop on motorcycles. (:
Well I dont get it, I walked into New Kargath and obviously a horde npc immediately one-shotted me and now my flag is on. I had thought it might be some kind of instanced fake New Kargath the way they do in a lot of other quests.

What to do
Description
The black dragonflight means business. As you've probably already noticed, they've taken over a large portion of New Kargath. These troops are under the command of General Jirakka and his champion, Moldarr. They must be stopped.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Wrath of a Dragonflight
Hello, <name>. It looks like you four have had time to become well-acquainted. I have my first assignment for you. Kalaran, an ancient black dragon of considerable power, has joined in the hunt for the egg we are protecting. We need to stop him before he gets too close.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Sorrow and the Fury
My greatest regret is the treatment that we - no, I - gave to Nyxondra. I forced her to lay eggs, then I performed experiments on them. Over, and over, and over again. Even as a mother myself, I can only imagine her sorrow. No... I mustn't be weak.
