Don't actually go INTO New Kargath, or you will find yourself flagged PvP fighting Horde NPCs higher level than you are. The right-hand path up the hill leads to the town the Horde use. The left path up the hill leads to the parts where the mobs are you want to kill.

I always thought a quest in an enemy town would be interesting and fun due to the danger involved. Leave it to Blizzard to make sure it's not. Getting chain-ganked by a level 85 guard for entering the area marked on the map as the quest area is about as fun as chewing on broken glass.

Take out the one-shot deaths for stepping in the wrong place and this will be a fun quest.

You must go up the hill into New Kargath. Moldarr is in the most southern building in the complex. Continue up the hill from this building and there will be a tower. General Jirakka is at the top of the tower.

Description

The black dragonflight means business. It appears that they've taken over a large portion of New Kargath, the large Horde settlement northwest of Dragon's Mouth. Their troops are under the command of General Jirakka and his champion, Moldarr. They must be stopped. We dragons do not take part in the squabbles between Horde and Alliance, but I do understand the risk you take in entering New Kargath. Please, heroes... be careful.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

  • The Wrath of a DragonflightBadlands · Level 15-30

Hello, <name>. It looks like you four have had time to become well-acquainted. I have my first assignment for you. Kalaran, an ancient black dragon of considerable power, has joined in the hunt for the egg we are protecting. We need to stop him before he gets too close.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Sorrow and the FuryBadlands · Level 15-30

My greatest regret is the treatment that we - no, I - gave to Nyxondra. I forced her to lay eggs, then I performed experiments on them. Over, and over, and over again. Even as a mother myself, I can only imagine her sorrow. No... I mustn't be weak.
