Their Moss, Our Gain

Their Moss, Our Gain is a quest for level 70-73 in Rambleshire. It is step 5 of 6 in the Rambleshire storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Isle of Dorn at 58.7, 30.2. It rewards 7,150 experience and money.

Description

You say nerubians had him? Not sure what they wanted with old Durzan, but he looks weakened by the ordeal. We can't have that if he's to challenge his brother Belzt on the mountain.

The moss harvested from our flocks gives the storm rooks a kick, so Durzan might benefit from it as well. Collect a bushel's worth and make an offering.

And if the mosswools get ornery, be sure to put them in their place.

"And if the mosswools get ornery, be sure to put them in their place."

Yes, let me stab them repeatedly in the face with my arrows while my pet eats them, literally beating them within an inch of their lives just to "put them in their place".

I'm sure a bap on the nose with a soft object would have been just as effective...

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Lost Lord of the StormRambleshire · Level 70-73

Listen well, stranger. Once a year, the great ram Durzan, Lord of the Southern Storm, crosses the isle to meet his brother Belzt on Thunderhead Peak. The clash of their horns heralds the storm and brings prosperity for another year. But something is wrong.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Thunderhead ButtRambleshire · Level 70-73

Durzan looks hale and hearty again. That moss packs a real punch. I have a sense that he's ready to go. I just wish we had more time. I have so many questions. But the greatest of those questions will be answered when he reaches the peak. We shouldn't send him up there alone.
