Uncommon Core is a group quest for level 50 in Uldum, added in Battle for Azeroth. It rewards 6,800 experience and money.

Description

Our scouts have reported that the Amathet are constructing new titanic watchers.

We had long thought this art was lost to the sands of time. It would appear we were mistaken.

I needn't tell you what a boon it would be to have the aid of watcher constructs in our battles for Uldum. We must unlock the secrets of their construction!

The power of a titanic watcher lies in its core. I ask that you bring one to me, so that our artificers might divine its construction.

Uncommon Core is a world quest in Uldum assault zone.
To complete the quest you have to kill [npc=151813] and take [item=174009] from it.
You can find [npc=151813] south of Khartut's Tomb or east of Halls of Origination.

Seems like only one person can loot the Titanic Core at a time even if you are in a party. Anyone who taps it can get the quest item but only the first person to loot. So if someone else loots the mob you are killing first, you will have to kill another one to get your quest item and be the first one too loot.
