In case anyone else is as confused as I was - The item will not work if the mob is already buffed.

When you use the item, it buffs the mob for 3 minutes and it gains a red aura. It cannot be rebuffed until the aura is gone. I was foolishly trying to buff mobs that already had the buff without realising and getting frustrated that it wasn't working.

That is every comment on this page.

Before this quest

  • Voidscar Arena: The Bastion of MightVoidstorm · Level 88-90

Vidious presses an attack. I do not see this Alliance he recruited, but monsters. Illogical. Vidious would not recruit another force until we had our fun with the recent additions. Fight these monsters. Find out what they are. Bring me evidence.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Voidscar Arena: Pre-Provoked ViolenceVoidstorm · Level 88-90

Vidious, using shadowgraft? Unbelievable. He is better than this. How dare he disappoint me. I need no shadowgraft to convince mighty <class>s like you to fight for me.
