Wanding 101 is a quest for level 10-45 in Azsuna. It is step 12 of 20 in the Azsuna versus Azshara storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Azsuna at 51.0, 36.5. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 6,150 experience and money.
We'll start with some wand work. You have your wand with you? Good.
I've set up a number of targets around the hall. Use your wand to hit as many as you can.
And no point-blank shots! That's cheating.

Completely bugged in 7.2... does not register any hits at all.
Hilarious quest. Try wanding other students or your teacher, and try wanding from point blank range. Reactions every time - particularly fond of the fifty point loss reference.
For anyone wondering what wand you're supposed to use, it's the wand that's in your Extra Action Button. You are not literally using the Shoot ability of your caster's ranged weapon.
Also, you have to really aim the wand, so your toon should be facing your target before you hit the button. It's ok to shoot point blank. Your instructor will yell at you but it will still count. While you're at it, shoot him too, but just for laughs.

Now, what was it you wanted? You're here to see the Tidestone of Golganneth? Hah! Ho ho ha ha haa! Hooo my. No, only the academy's headmistress has the keys to that chamber, and she hasn't opened the door in... oh, I'd say about ten thousand years. You'd best be off to class, now. Go on, then!

What's this? A new, confused student, desperately trying to win the favor of the headmistress, wandering the halls without anything to do? Perfect! I need help with my research. I'm writing a paper on combat. Grab me some books from the shelf over there.
