If you're reading this, chances you've already gone to Bilgewater Harbour and realised you had to pick a crate up in Dalaran.

If, by any stroke of luck, this is not the case: make sure you pick the crate up before making the hike!

When I tried to complete this quest, the NPC just was not there. After some back and forth with the support, they had two possible solutions:


  • Complete the Legion introductory quest line (I skipped it on this character, since it is an alt), by talking to Archivist Elysiana in Dalaran

  • Completing the quest On Whispered Winds (since it affect phasing in SW)

After I completed the Legion introductory quest line, and handed it in in SW keep, I saw the NPC, and was able to complete this quest.

Just in case someone else is stuck here as well...

This quest is apparently bugged/removed as of 8/19/2020 8.3 pre-SL patch.

Took the quest upon reaching level 110. Took the crate. Went to Stormwind. Walcott not in place.
Abandoned the quest and took it again. Walcott not in place.
Disabled Addons, reloaded UI. Walcott not in place.
Abandoned with Addons turned off. Walcott not in place.
Retook with Addons off, crate, Stormwind. Walcott not in place.

My wife has the exact same problem with this quest.

Submitted bug report. This quest can no longer be completed.

EDIT: Walcott Sutton can be found in his spot at the Stormwind docks by lower level characters. I saw/found him easily with a level 66. I took a Legion-level (108) character to the spot and Walcott was NOT there. It looks like starting Legion content removes Walcott from his place. The quest cannot be completed.

Description

{name}, I was hoping to ask you for a small favor. The naval fleet at Stormwind Harbor have been requesting large amounts of felslate to help construct supplies for their ships. I'm pretty busy here coordinating the gathering efforts and all my couriers are still out. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind taking that shipment over there to them? I heard there's a portal to Stormwind in the Greyfang Enclave here in Dalaran so it shouldn't be a long trip or anything.
