Weeding Out the Unwanted

Weeding Out the Unwanted is a quest for level 83-88 in Harandar. It is step 3 of 4 in The Greenspeaker's Vigil storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Harandar at 65.4, 28.1. It rewards 12,150 experience and money.

Description

The roots of the World Trees are infused with both nutrients and the magic of Harandar. As the large vessels that they are, they will draw to them unwanted fauna and flora. Some of them are harmless, but we want to keep the roots clear.

Haranir can often be allergic to the green weeds that flourish beside the roots of the World Trees. If you rip them out by the root, you would be saving us a lot of time--and hives!

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Before this quest

  • Fungal Lashers B GoneHarandar · Level 83-88

We are blessed to live in Harandar, but this is also our responsibility. The roots of the World Trees wind through these lands. We tend them, and they thrive. That is why it is so important for Riverscale to be back on duty.

After this quest

  • Back on Duty?Harandar · Level 83-88

Finally! I knew the little guy could do it. No, that is a bald-faced lie. If this grovecrawler could somehow find a way back into his cocoon, he would already be there. <Cyenna sighs.> His second favorite treat is the potatoad. If that doesn't work, his third favorite treat is the petalwing.
