I was just following the storyline, nothing else and as soon as I reported back to the Princess at Gloom Hollow after finishing the Frog part of the meta A Chance Sighting was waiting for me.
Seems to me that Horde has quite a few more quests in BfA that award pets than Alliance does. Kind of frustrating since I'm trying to get to 1000.
