You'll want to plead our case to Helya. She is the ruler here. I would accompany you, but I'm afraid I wouldn't help your case.

Meet me when you are finished. I will see if I can find the whereabouts of my shieldmaidens.

If you are confused on how to communicate with Helya just click on her throne and say "Get me out of here!" This will have her interact with you.

My warrior character could not interact with Helya's altar while I still had Recruitment Drive (warrior campaign quest) in my log. Abandoning Recruitment Drive fixed the problem, hope this helps

As of the current build Ashildir despawns when handing in "Stealth by Seaweed" and then respawns a few hundred yards south of the hand in location, on a small hill at the northern part of the The Eternal Battlefield.
