Needs major nerfs.
This is a rough quest as the cave is filled with a ton of groups that link.
I ran in with a speed boost or two (angelic feather) and shadowmelded in the corner of the cave.
I then killed the boss in the corner (careful! He fears! ) . Did the same to get out.
I agree with the above posters and the best course of action here is to die in the corner of the cave and then rez if you don't have a skill that will deaggro things (like feign death, vanish or shadowmeld)
Blizzard, please make this a group quest as it is next to impossible solo.

Description
Gnolls are awful creatures. Smelly. Always scratching, laughing at you. And there are multitudes here and more are constantly arriving. We, and by that I mean you, could reap them like wheat for days and never get anywhere. They can't be suffered to stay here. We must strike at the heart of the snake! Remove their leadership and they'll be paralyzed with indecision and despair. What do you mean why are we doing this? Isn't it obvious? They're gnolls! What more reason could one need?
