A Prayer and a Wing is a quest for level 30-35 in Mount Hyjal. It is step 62 of 118 in the Mount Hyjal storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Mount Hyjal at 44.4, 46.2. It rewards 3 reward items, 1 reputation reward, 4,800 experience and money.

Description

A winged visage? Could it be...?

<name>, there's no time to waste. You may have been speaking to Aviana herself, trying to return to us.

I'll need something from Aviana's past to reach out to her. High atop the ridge overlooking this shrine, you'll find a series of huge nests belonging to Blaithe, an ancient bird of prey that was once her consort. For ten thousand years he's been mad with grief.

Go to one of his roosts, and use this call to summon him. Kill Blaithe and bring me one of his feathers.

  • A Bird in HandMount Hyjal · Level 30-35

It's time to get to the bottom of this. We need to interrogate the matron of these beasts, Marion Wormwing. We'll capture her alive. Here's the plan: The harpies communicate across the ridge using a series of signal fires. If we extinguish one, Marion is sure to come investigate.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Fact-Finding MissionMount Hyjal · Level 30-35

The dragon Sethria must be stopped. We know that her roost is south of here, along the southern cliffs of Hyjal, but beyond that we know little else. I have sent Thisalee on a fact-finding mission to Sethria's Roost.
