Mine is bugged and not resetting, apparently you should be able to do a race to the finish daily (and at least 4 times for all 4 snails). Mine isn't offering me anything :(
This quest is pretty bad. I found it's best to do this quest when no one else is doing it for a guaranteed win.

Everyone loves a good snail race! In the most exciting races, every snail has a chance to win. You can help a snail win by giving it treats. Watch how fast it makes them go! Grab a bag of treats and toss them in the path of the snails. See if you can get Brulee to win!
