A Ranger's Spirit

A Ranger's Spirit is a quest for level 80-83 in Eversong Woods. It is step 9 of 13 in the Far Striding storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Eversong Woods at 59.5, 67.1. It rewards 11,750 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 1 achievement.

Description

Taemin has proved himself as capable as any Farstrider today. But I'm afraid he might not see it that way.

He came to us with such lofty ideas about the rangers--all those swashbuckling adventure stories, all the romantic old legends. But at the end of the day, being a ranger is mostly... chores. Difficult, boring, important chores.

Why don't you go talk to him, and make sure he's not too disappointed?

I at first couldn't figure out if this was bugged or not because when I tried to click on the NPC, it wouldn't let me. I just had to keep moving around and it eventually let me from its right side near the rear. Very odd. Maybe it's just a me issue but posting this incase anyone else has trouble.

  • Recovery MissionEversong Woods · Level 80-83

We've been deploying Farstriders across the forest to fight the Amani, the Lightbloom, the Void... but for all our heroics, there's no one left to tend to the wildlife! Or maintain the building! Or keep track of supplies! And now our beloved Enclave looks like a hawkstrider pen. I've had enough!

  • Range of KnowledgeEversong Woods · Level 80-83

I've always dreamed of being a Farstrider--the adventure! The romance! The beauty of nature! When they put out a call for help, I knew I had to join. Captain Dawnrunner assigned me to the library initially, but with everything going on, we all have to be flexible.
